ABOUT OUR COMPANY
Hello fellow American! I am Dillon, the owner/operator of The Gun Life. I was born and raised in Southeast Nebraska, where the motto is "The Good Life". I grew up hunting, fishing and farming with my dad and grandparents. I have always loved the outdoors and had an interest in firearms. After years of shooting trap and hunting, a day came when my gun interest turned into a passion. Every single day for years I have spent learning and researching firearms, calibers and accessories. In 2019, my wife and I decided to move to East Tennessee where we now have a house and a dog and are loving the weather. After moving here, I shortly realized that the prices for transfers and firearms were higher than I was used to. These high prices and friends consulting me on firearms finally pushed me to get my FFL. Having an FFL is a dream of mine that I thought wouldn't be reality until later in life. This privilege is one I take very seriously and I hope to one day be the best firearms dealer in Tennessee.
Growing up farming with my grandpa, we always went to the coffee shop everyday to shoot the shit with all the other farmers. He would get a cup of coffee for him and a Dr. Pepper for me. Those days in the coffee shop will always be something I remember. When The Gun Life finally expands, our goal is to have a place where, instead of farmers talking about the rain and the stock prices, gun enthusiasts can talk about builds and new products while they sit in the store and have their coffee.
The most exciting aspect for me is finding new ways to design and build guns and targets while not breaking the bank. Now, through The Gun Life, I can help others do the same.
